Sperry Tents Hawaii

Aloha everyone,

The Rio Event Design team is proud to announce the launch of our sister company Sperry Tents Hawaii .Our new website is in the works but in the meantime please visit sperrytents.com for information about Sperry Tents Hawaii . As always, please feel free to contact us at info@rioeventdesign.com, Sperry Tents is a prominent sailcloth tent manufacturer on the mainland and Rio is excited to partner with them to bring their high quality tents to Hawaii.

Our Story For over 30 years, Sperry Tents has provided tents, flooring, lighting, and other rental equipment for outdoor weddings and special occasions of all sizes. Sperry’s elegant tents – originally developed by sailmaker Steve Sperry in 1980 and still crafted out of authentic sailcloth today – have housed every type of event, from intimate parties to corporate fundraisers to celebrity weddings and more. Whether it’s destined for Sonoma, the Jersey Shore, Miami, or the Hamptons, each and every Sperry Tent is handcrafted by sister company Sperry Fabric Architecture (SFA) and handmade by SFA’s skilled craftspeople in the company’s post-and-beam manufacturing facility in coastal Mass. Steve Sperry’s sons, Matt and Tim Sperry, lead SFA and Sperry Tents respectively. The two companies are family run but also and symbiotic—both benefit from one another’s prioritization of traditional craftsmanship. Sperry Tents come in various sizes, from small rounds to large, graceful ovals. They are also available in two color styles: classic ivory or the signature blue star design. Telltale features of a Sperry Tent include sweeping sailcloth panels; pennant flags atop each peak; geometric support patches with stainless steel grommets; and solid wood support poles, most of which are formed at a historic 1930s sawmill. In recent years, Sperry Tents has grown from its original Mass. location to a family of 20 licensed providers across the U.S. as well as in the U.K. and Europe. “Selecting an event tent goes beyond size and guest count,” says President Tim Sperry. “Choosing the style and quality of a tent is just as important as selecting an indoor venue that resonates. A tent needs to be a visually appealing backdrop, one that photographs well and complements both lighting and décor. The detailed craftsmanship of our canopies is purposeful and reflects the importance of any well-documented occasion.” ‪#‎destinationwedding‬ ‪#‎mauiwedding‬ ‪#‎sperrytents‬ ‪#‎Sailclothtent‬‪#‎mauieventrentals‬ ‪#‎partyrentalsmaui‬ ‪#‎Resortwedding‬ ‪#‎dreamwedding‬‪#‎tropicalwedding‬ Pictures from Orchard Cove Photography and ©Hudson Nichols Photography
